Is UCL Good Enough for America?

Hey guys, I am a current UK high school student who has an offer to study pure Economics at UCL(University College London). I don't know what job I want, but I want to get a quantitative finance-related job in the City(maybe in an America bank?) and then perhaps transfer to America(NYC preferably). The thing is, would my degree and university be good enough to get into America? Would they also be reluctant to hire me because i'm not American(I'm from NZ)? Any help would be appreicated

Not sure about UCL placement on Wall Street but it is definitely a great school. UCL is consistently ranked amongst the top schools in the UK. You can't do wrong with picking UCL. As for Wall Street placement, plenty of UK students get IB but I am not sure if they are in America.
