I've Been Admitted to UVA. How Are They On The Street?

As the title states, I've been admitted to UVA for economics. I plan to apply to the McIntire School of Commerce after my first year due to the new opportunity for students to get into the McIntire School after their first year, not just after their second year. With that being said, how have they been doing on the street? I am highly interested in the school and wonder if it is recognized as a target. I get the sense from these forums and posts online that is it, but I want to confirm.

We recruit consistently from UVA across our bank (believe we take 4-5 kids every year across offices). Would definitely say it’s either a target or very very high semi target. If you want to get into banking this is a great option.

It is a solid school for the street. If you work hard enough, you should at least land a good MM IB offer. No one can guarantee a BB/EB offer, but an MM IB isn't bad per se.
