Kellogg with $$ vs. Wharton for PE
Would be interested in getting folks' opinions on this. I have a coworker (2nd year associate in PE) who is headed to Kellogg with a $40k/year scholarship with the intention of staying in PE. He also got into Wharton (no $) and dinged at H and S.
My impression was that Wharton had enough of a prestige edge that it would be worth attending at sticker over any non H/S school, but how much of an advantage does it really have over Kellogg, Booth, MIT, Columbia, and the like? Is there a $ amount where you would pick one vs. the other? Or has Wharton really fallen off / have Booth and Kellogg improved enough so that there isn't much of a difference any more?
Hi bizskewlinayear, any of these threads helpful:
Hope that helps.
If he got into Wharton and can afford it, why not?
