Kings Business School (Kings college london) Economics and Finance

I am currently applying for Msc degrees in uk. I have a bachelors in computer science and mathematics from QMUL. I have experience of financial forecasting and Machine learning and data science models. I can program in Python and R and have IBM data science certification also. My target job is at a macro hedge fund

I posted on this forum previously and understood that MSc finance and economics is a well rounded degree to have a better shot to get into a Macro hedge fund.

is economics and finance msc degree from kings college london worth it ?

I would say "stay far away" is a bit of an overstatement. For anyone that has a relevant degree in the field (Finance, Accounting, math, Econ even Business), I agree, working even at a mid market firm for a few years will get you much better off than a Kings Msc. However, for someone that studies a science, or data science and can't get relevant finance/consulting offers, then the Kings Msc basically puts you in the same spot as a Kings Econ Finance ug for recruiting. I'd say you could fairly easily land some type of role at a Big 4 accounting or consulting possibly. I'm sure you could secure an IB offer at a boutique or mass market firm with that as well, however King's isnt exceptional in terms of recruiting.
