Late Msc Finance and career prospects

Hello everyone.Congrats for the great pieces of info you guys post here all the time.

I have a question at the moment that is very crucial for programming my future moves and I need your help if you are kind enough to provide it.I definitely know you have the knowledge :D

Ok, here it goes. I’ll try to keep it simple.
I just finished my undergraduate degree in business administration a year late because of some health issues and I also have to do my military service for another year because it is compulsory in my country. To cut a long story short, until I finish with the army and make some money to finance any future masters program I will be around 26 years old.
My question is how hard would it be to break into the finance industry at an older age(27 by the time I graduate) if I manage to get admitted for a Msc in Finance at a university like Imperial or London School of Economics?Would I have a disadvantage starting so much later?

My second idea would be at the same time to try and pass the first two CFA levels and see if I could find a job with them in my country so I have more options later on like a MSc that requires working experience.

Thank you so much in advance.

Not a big deal at all. Just put the year you graduated on your resume and no one will even know you took a year longer to graduate.

Either way, no one interviewing you knows how old you are anyways. Throw in the fact that you served in the army and have done a masters and everyone is just going to assume you're older anyways. Nobody splits hairs over a few years.
