LBS MiM vs HEC MiM - career/ experience/ network

Hi all,

I just got admitted into both LBS MiM and HEC MiM and am very split as to which opportunity to pursue, where my primary objective is optimal career placement in MBB (or PE albeit secondary focus) in either London or Zurich (a bit of a stretch, but potentially also US).

My background:

  • Target School EU - BA Economics
  • 1 Management Consulting Internship (T2, think LEK, ZS, Roland Berger)
  • 1 Transactions Advisory Internship (regional boutique - deals incl. Carlyle, Ardian, Black rock)
  • 1.5y fintech startup experience
  • many extracurriculars (incl. leadership exp.)
  • language is not a barrier for either school

Key considerations:

  1. short term placement (targeting MBB in London, Zurich, or US)
  2. long term career development (transition into PE/VC, Startups and/or Tech)
  3. network
  4. reputation

Any thoughts, advice is very welcome!
