Nope sorry my dude. If you're considering targets/semi targets in London (for undergraduate) consider LSE/Imperial/UCL :) other schools better than CASS would be King's/Queen Mary. No particular order btw.

Cause there are lot's of smart kids at ucl

you dont need to study finance or business to break into the city - banks will pay you to learn on your internship.

Rankings are usually borderline useless. I remember a couple of years ago Lancaster was no 1 or 2 in the UK overall, in one of the rankings, which is clearly not accurate. Most Top UK unis also don't offer a purely business undergrad either: UCL runs Business and Economics out of its School of Eastern European studies or smthing like that; Oxford offers E and M, Cambridge offers Management once you are already studying there etc. You can study most things and still have a career in the city, don't stress.

Cass UG, depending on programme, places a few people in FO positons, but not as many as obvious target unis such as Oxbridge/LSE/UCL/Imperial. Cass is more known for its Masters courses.

Vs. QM it probs has the better alumni network and thus students place better in terms of internships & grad positions. Education wise it's obv. more business school like. QM places well for MO and Big 4 Consulting, as well as Master programmes at Oxbridge/LSE/Imperial/UCL and Banking/Buyside jobs afterwards.

Would say Kings is more target than both Cass or QMUL.

Hello Sir, I just got a offer for CASS MBA, for the MBA it will be the same situation or not? Many negative points for Cass, I'm wondering whether it worth it.

Hi Mate,

As far as I'm aware MBAs in Europe aren't really as big a deal as they are in the US. That being said, CASS is much better as a business school than as an undergrad institution, so Im sure you'll be able to make something of your time there. The name doesn't carry as much weight as LBS/INSEAD/Oxford Said/Cambridge Judge, but proximity to the city should stand you in good stead with regards to Networking. Good Luck!

Cass is not a target

But I used to go to Cass UG and now I'm at an EB (think Rothschild, Lazard, Evercore). Other people in my cohort got decent stints too, ofc not a lot of people. but if you put the work in, network heavy, try to get good grades/do extra circulars, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to get into ib
