Low GMAT - High GPA: Deferment Chances?
I am wondering what my chances are..
I have a 3.95+ UG GPA from a non-target UG in Finance. Accepted FT return offer to a top group in a MM Bank (IB). MM PE internship experience too, college athlete, club involvement etc.
My issue - I am not the best with standardized tests. Let's say I hit a 650-700 GMAT score.. do I stand a chance at an M7 deferment program? If 720 is the average score, 50% of candidates are scoring less than that.. obviously don't know the standard deviation there.
Also, I don't know if paying the 200k for an MBA is really worth it if I already broke into IB and want to eventually do PE?
Hi Analyst 1 in IB-M&A, any of these discussions helpful:
