LSE Finance and Private Equity vs Oxford Said MFE? **AMERICAN**

Hi I am an American who just got accepted into LSE Finance and PE, Oxford MFE, and LBS MiM. (Still waiting to hear back from Cambridge MPhil Mgmt).

LSE - heard it's like a factory. but obv good school
Oxford - financial economics sounds not so serious??? Oxford has a good rep worldwide but not sure if it will help me get a job in the US.
LBS - great MBA, but keep having it confused with LSE in the states.
Cambridge - eh.

I have zero finance internships, studied the arts, but graduated from an Ivy League School. Which program will help me get a job in the US??

No, I didn't apply to MIT Masters of Finance BC I heard bad things and was not impressed when they came to my school to give a presentation. Also mad $$$.

I would pick LSE. Not only because of the program, but LSE I believe has a wider network in Finance. I'm American as well, but really interested in working globally. If you can speak any other languages, that might help in securing a good position. If your end goal is working in Finance, then you should study Finance. The schools you have mentioned are on par with each other, I would pick based on the curriculum and what your end goal is. Also, I'm not sure about LBS but the environment is much better at LSE, compared to Oxford/Cambridge. Just my two cents..

btw mind sharing your stats?

What was your gmat score? Did you have any internships whatsoever, and if so, what were they in? What are your career goals? I am very interested in hearing your response as I hope to do one of the courses you mentioned in the following year.

I took the GRE, got a 700-> if converted to GMAT but had a near 4.0 GPA. my essay was crappy and vague. think it's BC one of my professors wrote me a killer rec.
