LSE management vs UMich econ

Hi there. I've recently been admitted to both of these programs and am extremely grateful and fortunate. I was pretty set on Michigan until getting this LSE offer and now I'm really stuck. I want to work in finance in the US after college and so obviously know Michigan would be a better choice however I'm not currently enrolled in the Ross program which hinders my chances of entering finance - although I will try transfer to Ross in my first and second year. Conversely, LSE is an amazing school with arguably the same reputation as the Ivy leagues and people have told me I would be stupid to pass up on such a great opportunity. Also, the idea of UMich is really appealing to me as I've always wanted the quintessential college experience, which LSE does not have whatsoever. Basically I'm asking should I choose LSE and have a good shot at entering finance but potentially be miserable there or go to UMich and sacrifice reputation and prestige for a better college experience.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated- especially from students at each of these universities.

Not sure why you’d want to study in London to recruit for the US…these 2 things are basically mutually exclusive. What I will say is if you’re ok to recruit for London, LSE Management is a good choice. It’s a very easy course, giving you more time to allocate to recruiting and enjoying London.
