M7 Deferred Admissions — Chance Me

Current senior and looking to apply to Wharton, MIT and Columbia Deferred Admissions, but I want to hear your honest thoughts to shoot for GSB/HBS? Deciding if is worth the extra sweat and effort. I've got a consulting job lined up full-time at a T2 strategy consulting firm for context. Are there any advantages for me to apply in 3-5 years rather than now?
