Madrid - Targets Outside Spain

Which are the foreign target schools for Consulting / IBD / PE in Madrid? From what I’ve seen on LinkedIn it’s mostly HEC, LSE, and Imperial are there others? Thanks!

@ie MIF program maintains high standards through the GMAT requirement, fostering quality among applicants. The university boasts strong connections across various business sectors, notably in finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship.

HEC, LSE, LBS and Imperial are probably the most common non-Spanish EU targets in Madrid. Then you've always got a couple of people from typical EU targets like Bocconi and HSG.

But the Madrid industry tends to favour UK experience/education. You'll see quite a few Spanish nationals who studied at UK russel group unis, although most of them do a masters in Madrid or the previosuly mentioned EU unis.

You see a lot of people from UCL and Warwick too, but I think this is primarily because they are unis that have a lot of Spanish students and big finance/IB culture - I don't think recruiters in Spain target these places specifically.
