Major Choice for Tufts

I ended up committing to tufts, and I was wondering if this would be a good plan to break into IB/Consulting. I want to major in IR, which is tufts speciality, with a concentration in international economics. I would then get a minor in finance, or maybe double major in Econ. Do you guys think if I join the right ECs, get good grades, and network that I could get a job? I’m already getting an internship at a hedge fund this summer (3-4B AUM) so I’m trying to put in work in that department as well.
