Major vs College

Hello everyone,

I've been doing some reading on here, and I have a good idea on the importance of college brand and network. I was admitted to UCLA, UCSD, and UCSB. For UCLA, I can only study Philosophy as that's what I applied for (transfer admissions.) I can do econ at the other two. Would UCLA still be the better choice to break into IB, even as a Philosphy major? I would add that I'm strong in Philosophy and likely to do well and maintain a high GPA. Would this major disadvantage me? Thank you

Check ppls LinkedIn’s from UCLA, seems difficult tbh but not impossible, would have to join every finance club and have an internship every year.
