Masters after a year in IB?

Looking at attending a top tier MS program after one year in IB. Eventual goal is to pivot towards a buyside role (AM, HF, MF).

Know this isn't the typical route given many kids attend these programs to land the job I currently have, but thought process is the intangibles of attending a prestigious grad school (network, alumni, connections, experience, brand name) can yield benefits down the line in my career/life.

Went straight from non-target to BB for reference. Appreciate any thoughts or comments.

I wouldn't. These programs don't place into HF, you could easily find your way into an AM/MF job without a masters. HF a little more work but doable.
