Masters Degree to switch from Operations to Consulting/Finance Careers

As the title suggests, I want to switch my career from an Operations Analyst at FAANG to a Management Consultant or Investment Banker. As an international student, I am looking for a master's degree that can help me achieve this goal.

Here are some details about my profile:

Undergrad: 9.52/10 CGPA after B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a tier-3 state university in India. I graduated with a CGPA of 9.52/10, which put me in the top 2% of my university. I also received two scholarships for my academic performance.

Work experience: 9 months as an Operations Analyst at FAANG

GRE: 324 (165Q and 159V)

IELTS: I have not taken the IELTS yet, but I expect to get a band score of 7 or higher.

I want to study and work in an English-speaking country, preferably the USA or the UK.

These are the courses and universities that I have shortlisted so far:

  • Masters in Engineering Management: Dartmouth, Duke, Purdue
  • Masters in Management: LBS, Imperial
  • Masters in Finance: Vanderbilt, LSE, UT Austin. For MSF, I am looking for courses that are less quant-heavy. I am open to suggestions for more courses.

I know that these programs are very competitive and ambitious, but I want to give them a try. I have experienced the disadvantage of having a low-prestige undergrad degree when applying for jobs. However, I was able to land a FAANG job even though it was not in my desired field. So getting into a reputed university is very important for me. Please share your opinions and advice with me. I am also open to suggestions for other B-schools or colleges.
