Masters In Finance

Current senior at a non-target and college athlete looking to break into IB. I have a 3.2 GPA, no GMAT, and three buy-side internships: two in PE at established lower-middle-market funds (NYC and CT) and one in private credit underwriting in NYC.

My biggest issue has been recruiting from a school with essentially no Wall Street pipeline/network, which is why I’m strongly considering Vanderbilt’s MSF. Their Investment Banking Academy and overall IB recruiting structure really stand out compared with other MSF programs I’ve researched.

How competitive would my profile be for Vanderbilt despite the 3.2? Do the internships/athletics help offset it?

Also, are there any other MSF programs with a similarly strong and structured IB pipeline that I should be looking at? Any recommendations/advice is extremely helpful.
