Hi everyone,
Been lurking several posts that mention that target Uni for Masters in Finance in Switzerland is MBF from HSG.
However I see close to 0 posts mentioning a more quantitative masters that HSG offers named MiQEF (Masters in Quant. Economics and Finance).
Is it not a target master? I would have assumed that both should have similar placement but in any case, MiQEF would have better career prospects given its quantitative approach

This is an IB forum, so nobody is looking to do quant really. "Better" is subjective.
With Better I mean that a graduate from MiQEF would be able to do what MBF graduates are prepared for + all the other quant stuff
Most MBF grads are going to IB / UB / PE, where you don't need in-depth quant skills. But MIQEF lacks all the accounting / practical finance stuff. So no, MIQEF is not better for these types of jobs.
