Masters in Management in UK Worth it?
Hi! I’m Econ senior in a very elite (H/Y/P) university in the US. I did consulting over the summer but didn’t really feel the industry was doing well. Want to transition to something like IB/VC/Trading.
Is a Masters in Management at a very renowned UK university worth it? Think Oxbridge/Imperial level degrees. I know US firms aren’t crazy about MiM but will it help me in the US job market given the rebrand name? I am definitely open to working in London but the pay difference really isn’t making me that excited. Just a senior looking for some guidance.
Thanks
Nope nope nope
Hmm would appreciate any details. It’s only one year.
You're gonna get absolutely nothing for US recruiting from doing a UK degree, even at a target, given your current profile.
Interested in why you dismissed consulting so fast for "not doing well" and then picked industries which arguably aren't doing that well right now either? It's all cyclical.
