This question is way too broad for WSO… It’s impossible to tell you what careers are worthwhile to think about because we don’t really know what you value or are looking for in a career.

Employability (outside of tech which I know nothing about) won’t vary too much. Most business won’t care what your degree is in as you will never use it, quantitative roles that aren’t SWE may prefer straight maths. I’m

Ideally I’m looking for a career in which I have a great safety net while also being highly rewarding in terms of salary-wise. Working long hours during the first few years is something I’m willing to endure until getting into a more comfortable position where I have more leverage when looking for something better. I’ve heard quant or actuary is something specifically that math graduates pursue. How competitive is it and what would the starting graduate salary be around? Would I require a masters?
