Mba app advice

Hi everyone,
I just graduated from college and will be doing IB at a mid tier bank (I’m not sure how to categorize it but I think it is somewhere in between a BB and EB). I have been wanting to pursue MBA (my dream schools are W and S) to eventually land a VC/PE role.
Here is my profile:
- Demographic: Female, Asian international student, currently living in SF
- Education: Business major, GPA 3.9
- EC: I was in an org my freshman year but that was pretty much it. I’m currently in a finance society in the US but just as a participant
- GMAT focus: 625 -> 585

Not sure why WSO kept cutting my post midway but to continue:
- GMAT: 625 -> 585. I know these look pretty bad as I took my second try 1 month after my first try

I know that I have a lot to improve here and prob killer essays and interviews to get in. I would appreciate any advice but I have 2 specific questions I wanted to ask:
- Should I take the GMAT again or switch to GRE? I don’t think GMAT allows test takers to cancel scores anymore
- What should I do to improve my ECs?

Thanks everyone!

Well good thing for you is you have 4 years to worry about this. If you just started in IB, you’ll do 2 years IB —> 2 years PE.

During that time you need to build a good relationship with your bosses. Additionally, you have time to build up EC. Do something you like. Go teach or someone idk. Also, you now have 4 years to improve that score. Chill out
