MBA... Do I have to?

I graduated from target undergrad with a finance and econ degrees. It was a separate business school for undergrad (very well respected). I feel like I got a great education. I looked at the MBA program and it's many of the same courses with the same professors. Going to a good undergrad business program and getting an MBA is redundant.

I want to get into PE. Can I get into PE with the CFA? I don't want to waste 2 years and the $$ to go to business school. I already am on a decent track at a BB.

I don't know how valuable a CFA is in the PE space, makes more sense to get into Hedge Funds
