MBA: Imperial vs Bocconi

Hello WSO Community!

I am in a predicament regarding where to pursue an MBA.

I have an admit at Imperial College London and SDA Bocconi -- which one would be a better bet?

Some additional info: I have an LLM in Banking Law from a top-tier UK University, an ACCA (almost done), and an ACAMS. My post-MBA goal is to work in the UK or the Middle East, preferably in Dubai.

Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated as I need to accept either of the offers (very) soon.

Which Uni?

SDA Bocconi

Both great great schools! Imperial is prob top 5 in the world for STEM, Bocconi is great and rising as finance/economics/management school in Europe and worldwide.

Personally for pure business I would choose Bocconi. For full context, finance graduate in Italy at a public University.

Given your choice is only around MBAs for me would be an easy pick! I simply don’t see UK universities (except LBS) as top names for MBAs.

I would have a list instead of Imperial in Europe: Insead, LBS, St Gallen, Bocconi, a few in Spain..

If you were asking about STEM programs then Imperial would be one of the few top choices worldwide

Those are my two cents!

Honestly, neither are great for an MBA. Different story for a masters, of course, but only LBS and INSEAD are worth it at the MBA level in Europe.
