Whats up everyone, I am curious where we are in terms of recruiting for Investment Banking Associate positions for summer 2024? I received a JPM coffee chat request, but haven't heard anything from the other firms? Well at least, the one's that are not exclusively recruiting on campus. Please let me know if anyone already has offers, super day requests, 1st or second round interviews.

Timelines vary from school to school. At least at my school, banks came to campus way earlier than usual for 1st years (a lot of banks that usually come at the end of October / early November) have already done coffee chats (excluding diversity / military hires). Few military guys either had superdays or have a few upcoming. This kind of makes sense since the military guy who recruited last year in my cohort I believe had 2-3 superdays in late September / October before finally converting one (he signed before everyone else).
Not sure if this is a byproduct of a very involved Finance Club / CMC but it does seem super active for 2024 summer vs. what it was last year. Recruited for IB last year and I remember getting a cold email from a BB group after New Years after I struck out (pivoted to recruiting in roles completely different than IB). Maybe some firms felt they under-recruited for 2024's summer.
