Friends have told me that Summer Associate interviews are down some 5-35% at MBB, averaging about 20% but depending on office. This is at H/S/W, so not like they're cutting Darden or something to make way for more impressive candidates.
We're in for a bumpy ride.

This has been in occurrence since Sept/Oct - less interviews were being given out at both the undergrad level and MBA level. I am an Incoming undergraduate Intern at a T2(LEK/EYP/S&) Consulting shop.
My friend from Cornell who recruited for my T2 confirmed with the head of campus recruiting at Cornell that compared to last year, they less spots this year. Also a friend at UC Berkeley's MBA mentioned his class got substantial less offers from MBB than last year.
