MBA tuition

Thinking about getting my MBA in about a year or two. At this point I’ll have about 3 years of work experience after undergrad. Reason for the MBA is I currently work in operations and would like to move to a front office job. Not too interested in IB would prefer to work in fixed income asset management or commercial banking but also open to other ideas as I just need to get out of operations for my own sanity. Everything I’ve heard is a part time MBA would be fairly useless to me as I’m looking for a career switch. Although someone please correct me if you have a different opinion. After looking at some of the schools I’d be interested in it would likely cost me close to 150k plus living expenses for the entirety of the program in addition to giving up my salary for a couple of years. This is obviously no small cost but one I think I’d be willing to take on if it was the right school. My main question is are people actually paying the sticker price at these schools or are they finding a way to lower their cost somehow? For reference I would be looking to get into a top 25 school ideally don’t think I have a shot at M7 realistically. Any advice regarding any of this is appreciated - thanks in advance.
