MIT MFIN Vs.HEC MiM

Hello fellow monkeys!

I am here today to seek your advice.

I have been admitted to both the MIT Master in Finance and HEC Master in management programs and I would like to take your opinion on which to choose.

MIT is a better brand name but, due to the global situation, I feel that it would be pretty difficult for an international student to get a job/internship opportunity in the US. I also don't think it is a good time to invest north of $140 K. On the other hand, the Master in Management at HEC would allow me to do a specialization in finance (1st year=general knowledge, 2nd year=specialization) at a relatively lower cost ( more or less $ 40k per year). What to you think? Is the MFIN really this more valuable? (I petitioned for a deferral but it was rejected unfortunately).

N.B: I have studied engineering at the undergraduate level and just graduated a couple of months ago.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your answer. I think the same way to be honest but, while evaluating the two options, I realized that the global situation makes it very difficult to afford an education in the U.S (almost impossible to get a student loan and, even if it was, I don't think that now is the best time to have a debt). Also, the courses will start in July in an online format (which is very understandable given the situation). This in itself defeats the purpose of a top U.S program such as this one since it will make networking much harder. Do you think that despite all these limitations, the MFIN is still a better option?

Thank you for your help!
