Monash vs. UWA for Business/Finance Careers in Hong Kong?

Hi everyone,

I have Bachelor of Commerce offers from both Monash and UWA. My goal is to build a career in Hong Kong after graduation. I'm an international student and fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

My target roles are in professional services and finance, including the Big 4, commercial banks, and commercial real estate...

Here's the situation: UWA offered me a scholarship of AUD 12,000 per year, while Monash has no scholarship, making it a much more expensive option.

My question is for those familiar with the Hong Kong job market:

For graduate roles in general business and finance, is there a significant hiring preference for Monash grads over UWA grads?

Is Monash's brand name strong enough to justify turning down a major scholarship for these career paths in Hong Kong?

Thanks!
