MS
I am an international student doing a BA at deleted.
My GPA is currently 3.3/3.4.
I plan on doing an internship in the fall in Europe at a well-known independent financial firm doing AM, CM etc. (my summer internship got cancelled due to Covid).
I am thinking about doing an MS (right after college) to boost my chances to break into the management consulting industry in the US: get that STEM visa extension, possibly get into a stronger school and get some hard skills.
What programs should I look at? Does my plan make sense to you?
Thank you for your help!
I would look into MIT's MFin program. MIT itself has a huge recruiting scene for McKinsey. Usually people have a math background, but there are a decent amount of people who exit to IB, PE, and MBB.
Don't know much about other programs so I can't comment. I would imagine Vanderbilt's MSF program also places well into southern MBBs.
