MSc Computing questions
Dear All,
I'm new to this forum, but have gone through a good number of posts before posting myself. I'm currently a 3rd year electrical engineering student with 1 year to go before I graduate and proceeding on to a masters. With this in mind, several masters programmes I was considering are:
@ LSE : MSc Applicable Mathematics/MSc Financial Mathematics
@ Imperial: MSc Computing (Performance modelling) - http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/computing/teaching/pg/…
Apart from being 1/3rd the price of the other two, the computing course seemed really attractive to me especially with my background. Am I correct to assume that such a masters would allow me to apply for quant positions? One thing I didn't manage to find on the forum is the usual career path of a quant... what options does one have after having worked as a quant for a number of years?
