MSc Finance LSE vs MSc Finance Bocconi (Full scolar)
Hi everyone, I’m a 21-year-old Italian student and I’m currently facing a tough choice between attending Bocconi with a full scholarship or LSE without any scholarship.
I’m in the final year of my Bachelor’s degree and currently working at a Big Four firm, but only as a controller. Last summer, I did an internship in the US in audit. I also hold a leadership position in a finance club.
My goal is to break into Investment Banking in London, but I’m not sure if my current profile is competitive enough.
What would you suggest?
Thank you!
What's your GRE/GMAT score if you don't mind me asking? Planning to apply next year.
Hi, 675 gmat FE
Avoid the LSE MSc Finance at all costs. Given that you are Italian, your best bet (by far) is Bocconi.
Why?
Correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve barely seen anyone with a master from Bocconi in IB roles, it’s always bachelors. On the other hand there is a whole bunch of LSE masters everywhere.
There is always the advantage to be in the city for networking and all.
I would pick LSE in your case if not taking into account fees and CoL
.
