MSF for IB
What are some of the top MSF programs for IB placement? I’ve seen a few that have mentioned Princeton/ MIT for more quant roles.

Career Resources
Look at the placement stats—this is of nearly equal importance to the quality of the curriculum and instruction. UT Austin and Vanderbilt are two great examples of schools with good placement and a good program as well. Vanderbilt also has a MACC in Valuation which includes both CFA and CPA prep which is worth looking into. Also, check out MSFHQ which is run by a WSO member. I’m on that path myself so I’ve done a lot of research—feel free to PM if you want to talk more about it.
MIT's program doesn't have to be quant heavy if you don't want it to be. There are only 2 required math-based courses if you choose the corporate finance concentration. MIT is definitely the highest ranked school to offer an MSF (Princeton's is admittedly more of an MFE) and the 1.5 year option allows you to recruit for SA, something few other programs offer. Other than MIT, Vanderbilt is a clear second place. Villanova, Boston College, Notre Dame, and Texas are all very solid, especially regionally.
I have been accepted to Boston College and University of Rochester. Rochester has the option to do the 1.5 years and try to get an internship, do you think its worth it to go there instead of BC given I have no internships?
I’m not familiar with Rochester’s program. BC is the better brand, but the 1.5 year option is definitely attractive since you don’t have any internships. If I were you, I would reach out to alumni and career services to get a better understanding of where Rochester grads place. 2022 SA recruitment will probably start up around April-May (earlier for some banks and diversity), so aim to make a decision before then so you can start recruiting/networking ASAP
