Need advice from all Kelley students

I’ll be going to IU this fall for finance, and I’ve applied to live in the KLLC. But unfortunately, I did not get accepted to live in the KLLC. I’m hoping to get into the investment banking workshop one day, and now I’m not sure how I’ll be able to network with other students. For any current and former Kelley students, how did you get to know and network at IU? What clubs should I join? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I know there's an undergraduate investment club, that is basically a feeder into the workshop. I'd join that. There's also a bunch of other clubs, and there should be some sort of club fair or something early in the school year, attend that and try to either join a larger club/the investment club or found your own/try and get on the board of a smaller club. Also, if you're in any of the dorms near Kelley (Wright, McNutt, Briscoe), there will probably be at least a handful of kids on your floor that will be in Kelley. Greek life is huge, and from what I remember, workshop was something like 40-60%+ greek, so not required but definitely doesn't hurt. You'll also most likely be involved in a lot of group projects, so that is another opportunity to network.
