Need Advice: MBA, MSF, or ... ?

Here is my situation:

34 yrs male, non-target state school w/ 3.9 gpa econ major, prior military service (enlisted), currently working in gov as economist (less than 5 years in role). No direct finance experience. Living in D.C metro area and would be looking for positions here.

Where I want to be:

IB (MM), PE, VC

Caveats:

I took awhile to finish undergrad. Went to some community colleges, transferred to a liberal arts college, dropped out, then finished last two years (and most of my major) at the state school. I'm also not willing to relocate to New York, California, or Chicago.

Advice?

I'm considering applying to Georgetown and UVA for the part time MBA programs. I've also looked at the MSF programs at Georgetown and George Washington. Since I'm not willing to relocate these are the best options for me so far as I can tell. If you were in my situation and were charting a course what would that look like? I'm planning to apply to programs starting fall 2023 so I have a little over a year to make some moves.
