Yup very true. These rankings mean nothing. BB firms will always stick to their selected feeder schools no matter what rankings business week or financial times come up with.

 

What American schools are top notch international schools on par with? eg. Is LBS more similiar in stature to a Chicago, a Stern, or a Columbia?

LBS can often crack the top 10 and so does INSEAD.

In all honesty, its obvious that if you want to work in the US, chances are studying at Wharton is going to be better than at London Business School and vice versa simply for convenience.
