New York Institute of Finance YFS High School program??

Heyyo

So I came across this program called G2020 Young Finance Scholar High School Program... which as you guessed it, is meant for High Schoolers. It's supposed to be a virtual program for "those who are interested in building a solid understanding of finance and business knowledge". Do you guys think it's legit cuz the tuition is like $3500... and that's hella expensive for someone like me.

now I'm taking a gap year before going to college(LAC in the East Coast). I am going to be doing an (unpaid) internship at a boutique finance firm during this time along with an FMVA certification.

So would you guys recommend this course? It seems cool and idk whether I can insert links to the program here but ill try

program link-

explanation video(which is like 2 hrs long)-

Would you recommend that I go ahead w this program or just invest the money in an index fund lol (again its 3.5K... thatll be like 60K in another 30yrs)?

Thanks for your time... I really appreciate it!!

The FMVA is worth it in my opinion because it is a structured program and assumes you have very little knowledge about the subject. The other resources are high-quality content that can be found for free on the internet.
