Northwestern or Williams

Not sure where I want to be but currently a freshman at Williams who was accepted to Northwestern as a transfer. Not sure whether I should stay or no.

Waiting on HYS + Penn + Columbia + Duke still

Why do you want to transfer? These are pretty similar caliber (very good) schools and there would be very little recruiting benefit to switching to NU now. If you can't cut it at Williams that would be on you. I would only transfer if you have other reasons besides improving recruiting prospects.

Honestly just didn’t feel the williams environment was for me at first when applying but it has grown on me for sure.

Really not sure what to do lol

Just applied dont reallylike the williams environment but now that i got in ive been thinking on which would be better

Depends. Are you an athlete? Are you in any of the big clubs at Williams?

You’re not in bad shape than. I assume by big club you mean Insight/WIG? Are you a guy or a girl?

Looking at it northwestern is huge so im not sure what i’ll do.

Tbh didnt like the williams environment and placement seems so nepo/connection based. Might just be the case everywhere.

Alumni network and OCR are great here, there is a high concentration of nepo/connection based but at the same time theres a lot of great offers for people where this isn't the case.
