Notre Dame vs Georgetown

I know this discussion has come up in the past but Im looking for more specific insight. Im planning on applying to Mendoza or McDonough but also looking to double major in math/applied math for S&T recruiting. Purely for recruiting which school seems better for this? On another note how are the party scenes at these two schools? I know ND doesnt have greek life but has what they call "dorm life", so for anyone that's experienced this and can shed some light on this Id appreciate it

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know:

Recruiting for S&T:

  • Notre Dame Mendoza: Notre Dame is known for its strong alumni network and has a good reputation in the finance industry. However, specific insights into S&T recruiting are not detailed in the provided context.
  • Georgetown McDonough: The context does not provide specific information about S&T recruiting at Georgetown McDonough either.

Party Scenes:

  • Notre Dame: Notre Dame does not have Greek life but has a strong "dorm life" culture. This means that social activities and parties are often organized within dorm communities, fostering a close-knit environment.
  • Georgetown: The context does not provide specific details about the party scene at Georgetown.

For more detailed insights, you might want to explore specific threads or discussions on Wall Street Oasis related to S&T recruiting and social life at these schools.

Both schools place similar numbers to IB/S&T. ND doesn't have frats, but your dorms feel like one. I can't speak of other dorms, but my dorm has a great community, and we have lots of events during the week. Lastly, if you're undecided between ND and Georgetown, tour them in person or attend virtual sessions. If you're a city person, go to Georgetown. If you're a Catholic, ND would be a blast.
