Nottingham university vs Bath university

Hello,

I am deciding between Economics at Nottingham and Politics with economics at Bath with a placement year.

I have heard that Bath’s placement year is very good, but I am not sure if it compensates for the fact that the course is not pure Econ as Nottingham and less quantitative.

I would appreciate any opinions or advice. Thank you!

Bath undergrad here, I'd go with Notts for a couple of reasons:

- Placements at Bath are very good, I can't speak for Pol & Econ though - they might not be as good as other courses.

- Notts places very well into IB and consulting and pure Econ is better than Pol & Econ.

Best of luck and if you have any questions about Bath let me know.
