Oxford MSc Financial Economics vs. LSE MSc Finance

Hi. Is anyone here that has done MSc Financial Economics at Oxford or has heart any opinion about this programme? Some people say it is too theoretical. Any information/opinion will be useful. I have received an offer but I am still waiting to hear from LSE. Personally I like Oxford more but apparently LSE has bigger network in finance and their course is more established.

I know a few guys who did the Oxford program and they all got very good jobs in London i.e. BX PE, Lazard etc.

LSE's MSc Finance & Private Equity did. Placement wasn't as "prestigious" across the board as from Oxford but still, PE is PE.

Don't know from the top of my head but a couple of them did internships at BBs beforehand

No, didn't apply there. I was discouraged by very small class and extermely thoeretical approach. Moreover, I read somewhere that most people go onto Phds after...
