Part-Time MBA for Non-Career Switcher?
I currently work in Corp Dev at a F500 with prior IB experience. My company is willing to pay ~$50,000 if I pursue a part-time MBA. After quite some time weighing the opportunity cost, I prefer a part-time program to continue working (ie, no lost salary/experience). Most director-level and above colleagues, as well as corp dev leaders in other similar companies, have an MBA… so thinking this is kind of a check the box decision to accelerate my career and qualify for higher-level roles. Is there value in pursuing an MBA for these goals? Anyone have experience going part-time as a non-career switcher? Thinking of programs like Booth, Kellogg, Stern.
