PE IR Associate MBA Exit Opps

Hi All,

Non-target undergrad, ex-BB A2A MS/JPM/ GS (front office, but not IBD) that left to join a PE IR/Fundraising team (not MF, but top 15 in strategy). In an Associate program with opportunity for direct promote to VP, but want to do something a bit more intellectually stimulating, i.e., join a deal team, get technical experience, etc.

Recognize that anything’s possible if you network hard enough, but curious as to what potential pathways post MBA. Mindful of the huge opportunity cost ($), so really viewing it more on the basis of career resetting.

Appreciate any insight, please no troll posts lol.

Thanks!
