Possible to pass Series 79 and 63 without reading the book?
Wondering if this is doable. Exam is in a couple days and have not opened the book yet. Have just been doing videos and practice questions.
I passed the SIE without reading the book, and so far have been doing well with practice exams for the 79. Is this doable ?!

Yes. They aren’t really that hard. Take some practice tests, and if your scores are good, I wouldn’t worry. When I took the 7 and 63 years ago my boss made fun of me for doing too well on the scores. He straight out said that studying that much was a waste of my time. Good guy.
What’s the upside of not studying? If you fail they might let you go

I only studied a day each for each of my series exams just doing practice problems and practice tests. It's very doable. Just start grinding through practice problems and supplement anything you don't understand w/ videos or reading the book for specific stuff you don't understand.
Keep doing practice tests until you consistently score >80% then you should be good. I think I did something like 600+ practice problems for each of my series exams.

I didn’t read a single page of the book for the SIE, 63, or 79. Watch vids and drill practice Qs — you should be fine

Book not necessary for any. Just watch vids and drill PQ's. I'd also read Knopmans last email before you test, the info there is based on recent exams and extremely helpful
