MBA or nothing
Hey dollachimp why do you suggest that?
MBA-Finance, not a masters of science in finance. I'm not sure about India but here in the US the MBA is the standard. MFE is great if your trying to be a quant, or hedge fund, MSF could also work for hedge fund due to the products aspect. However, banking or private equity, MBA. It's the industry standard over here.
I thought it was related to the profile i posted. Thank you anyway. Will keep that in mind.
Totally different in Europe, by the way.
Not many people in the industry are holders of an MBA degree, nor is it considered the gold standard.
A vast majority completed a (pre-experience, specialized) postgraduate business Masters (M.Sc./M.Fin.) in Finance.
OP: Provide how your GRE converts to a GMAT score. Even Admisison Committees are not familiar with what a given GRE score translates to a GMAT score.
