Propose or wait until after school?
Need help with a big life choice. I have been with my girlfriend for 5 years now and will be graduating grad school next May. I have a pretty different career path than most on this form however was looking for some insight as to whether or not I should propose to my girlfriend or wait. I am literally ready today to propose and know for sure my girlfriend is the one I want to be with and I we have talked many times about this and she has insisted she is ready. From a financial standpoint point should I wait until I graduate and start making money? Or just buy the ring im interested and not look back? I have $30k saved in college and the ring would be about $7.5k. Not sure if i should wait till I have more income or make the move and not take tomorrow for granted.

Yeah we have lived together at school the past 2 years and summers we live at my parents house. I have a job in NYC lined up after school so we plan to stay with my parents for a year to save up some money
