QMUL IB firms target
Why are many BB firms like JPM and GS targeting more undergrads from QMUL(Russel group uni) for the London roles? I’ve seen so many of them getting summer internships and spring weeks on LinkedIn. They are not even ranked top 10 in the UK. They are 19th wtf and 117th in the world ranking. Goldman Sachs have even created more then one degree apprenticeship programmes with them where they get paid, a degree for free, while working with them. I go LSE and do economics and this is just taking the piss as I’m struggling to get one and they are getting offers.
cool. you're not going to get an offer because of the degree you do, its not relevant to the role really. they probs had other things going for them
But it’s so unfair. I have even seen some of them get internships at Hedge Funds and I thought only oxbridge get that.

But you should work harder on getting on spring weeks and summer internships, only the LSE brand name can get you interviews but not spring and summer offers LMAO.
