Look for cities that have a sizable amount of boutique/mmkt banks and then look for the most prominent school in that area.
Rice/ UT Austin are good for TX/Down south, IU Kelly solid for Indiana/midwest. Olin would be good for Seattle. UIUC would be good for Chicago.

Sorry to go off topic, but after NYC and Chicago..which city has the most BBs and MMs? Is it Houston?
I would say LA, SF, Dalla, Houston, Philly, Boston would be the leaders after NYC/Chicago.
For IB, Houston has much more than Dallas due to the energy space.
Dallas though has far more when it comes to HF/AM though.
Agree with the Rice/G-town/Vanderbilt/Emory comments. UT-Austin is above those from a rankings stand point but obviously exit opportunities are mostly in TX. I have barely heard of or not heard of those other schools.

These are just some other schools that I like for undergrad, just curious how they do for BB regionally or regional boutiques probably (Im not really dead-set on anything specific)
Boston College Tufts Wake Forest Hamilton College Carleton College Davidson College(other Liberl arts schools)
Anyone know how these stand in comparison to UNC, Emory, Ect?
Piper Jaffray recruits at Carleton, which makes sense because it's in Minnesota. But if you can get in there, you probably have a good shot at Tufts or BC.
The feel I got from Hamilton (lots of relatively conservative prep school types) leads me to believe there's a decent network to be utilized there, but beyond that I know nothing about the school.
If you go to a top 15 LAC, do well there, and build a network, you'll have a shot at making something happen at a BB.
I have never heard the last 3 names. I am sure BC has lot of presence in Boston and WFU in NC.
Hamilton is in Clinton, NY. If you are aiming for IB I would try and get into BC or Tufts. Both are very good schools. Wake Forest is also good, but probably will place mostly down south/NC area.
Rankings wise UT is higher, but it barely places any outside TX. It's very regional. Something comparable to it would be UNC.
UT is ranked higher than Rice, Emory, Gtown and Vandy?

In MBA categories, probably everything, but we were speaking of "overall".

Rice University and Indiana University and Miami University. Emory and UNC/Wake Forest and Vandy. For the south UT, and Northwest I think Washington and BYU.
Wisconsin, Illinois, Washington St. Louis and Notre Dame for Chicago

IU Kelley and Miami Ohio aren't top undergrads overall, but have good business programs. At least IU does, I don't know much about Miami Ohio. Bear Stearns used to recruit a lot of IU kids.
The rest of the schools are good regionally, WFU is prob a notch below UNC for the midatlantic.
