Rice vs Emory?
Transferring as a junior (yes I know, recruiting will suck ass).
Rice for business, Emory for econ, but I might be able to add business.
I'm aiming for commercial or corporate banking, and maybe consulting. Houston or Dallas would be cool, no big preference for location as long as it's not in NYC (Not my cup of tea).
I'm leaning heavily towards Rice but just wanted extra opinions to make sure I'm not massively fucking uo

Verdict: If you're leaning towards Texas for your career and want to maximize your chances in commercial or corporate banking, Rice is the better option. Its location, alumni network, and recruiting strength in Texas make it a more strategic choice for your goals. Emory could be a good option if you're open to working in the Southeast, but the risk of not getting into Goizueta makes it less appealing for your specific situation.

Pick what you want. Both are very good options
