Richard Ivey HBA Transfer Students?
Hello!
Has anyone here applied to transfer into the HBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business (Canada) for September 2015? How do you people feel about your applications? Have your references been contacted?
Peace!
2 of my references have been contacted. What about you? I don't know how many refs they are going to contact, since one of my references contacted was in my "other" activities section i.e. not one of the three main activities...
This is OP. I forgot my password, so I had to make a new account, lol
As far as I know, two of my main references have been contacted. What are your stats, btw? I am a 3rd year non-business student and I applied with about 88%.
I applied as an AEO student and 4 of my references have been contacted. Can I ask what school you're transferring from? Just interested.
hey, I'm a first a first year Canadian student planning on transferring to the HBA program next year, and I thought you guys might be able to answer some questions I have. Maybe I could personal message either of you? Btw I hope both of you got accepted this year! :)
Just got accepted last week, good luck everyone!
Those of you accepted, what are your stats? I am going to apply next year, i finished first year in an applied econ program with a 91% average and I was doing 8 extracurriculars at the time. Was wondering how you guys feel I can compare?
Seems to me you have a good chance. However, it depends on your current school, how competitive your program is, the pre-req courses, etc. If you could get an internship/some relevant work experience in finance/business it would improve your chances further I think.
