Round 2 - Booth and Kellogg
Anyone who applied to Booth / Kellogg in round 2 heard back yet? I'm getting tired of waiting.

Me too. Nothing yet.
Not to sound like a jerk, but both of these schools have clearly-stated decision dates before which you will not be notified
Booth - 3/21

Kellogg - 3/26

From Kellogg's website:
"Application decisions may be released on or before the decision deadline, but the majority of decisions will be released during the last few weeks of the round."
Thanks for the contribution.
What Barbarian said.
Also, Booth has historically called some admitted applicants the day before to notify them, so 3/20 is the absolute earliest.
Some or all? Tempering expectations...
My bad, only had experience with Booth. In R1 they called admits the day prior to the decision deadline, and notified all denials / waitlists via email on the decision deadline.
Kellogg historically starts calling 7-10 days early...
b-school admissions was one of the worst experiences of my life.
All eggs in R2 basket, right before a 10 day vacation starting in late March. Preparing for nerve-wrecking 2 weeks + possibly depressing vacation.
Similar situation - project ends this week, vacation next week, awaiting decisions
I've already started planning for the worst...already dinged on one, all but dinged on the second, with one left.
As much as reapplying sounds fucking terrible, working abroad for a year and applying to a couple different places sounds good. I refuse to save orphans just to get into school.
^^^literally dying laughing at yoru last sentence...
Bump this, how'd you do Charlie?
Found out both today. Rejected at Kellogg, got in at Booth. Booth was top choice, and I spent much more time on that app, so I am not too surprised by the outcome (more pleasantly surprised I was accepted anywhere in the first place).
Congrats Beach - am still waiting on Booth, holding out hope that calls aren't done.
Second that congrats. Also still waiting on 2nd round Booth decision. Good luck to everyone still waiting.
I'm WL from R1 at both. I'm Pacific timezone and still hoping for a call.
4:30 in Chicago. I think they're done.
So, its assumed that everyone that has not been contacted is a wl/ding for round 2?
I think that last year the final call recorded on gmatclub was around 5:00 pm CST.
Personally, I was an R1 WL and was admitted today around 1 CST. Best of luck to all of you dudes
Nothing still for me from K. Calls still coming in according to GMAT Club chatroom.
Seems like it's getting pretty close to the end. I'm gonna call it for myself at 5pm Chicago time. Bummer . . .
no worries - theres the possibility of a WL. I'm in the same boat.
Keep your head up!
Got the WL notification from Kellogg...as expected. Leaning towards not staying on the list
Still haven't heard anything from Booth/Kellogg. Booth will probably WL/Reject me in an hour, and shouldn't expect any better from Kellogg. Sucks to be a White/Asian male in an overly populated industry (where everyone else they admit try to go anyway).
never hurts to stay on? :)
got into Fuqua, heading there probabl
@ abacab. i feel ya buddy. its tough.
Just got placed on the waitlist for U of C. They sent the email out first thing in the morning (10:00AM EST). Good luck to all.
@short congrats on Duke- great school. Fun times at the D1 bball games.
went to uconn undergrad so double basketball fever lol
WL'd at Booth. Will probably pay my Mccombs deposit to hold my place and remain on Booth's waitlist. Not the outcome I was hoping for but at least there is still a chance.
